Argos, an independent European investment fund, has promoted Pierre Cassignol and Tobias Kappis to the position of Investment Manager, and Skyler van Wezel to the position of Associate. The Argos team comprises 70 employees in its 7 European offices.

Cassignol - Argos

Pierre Cassignol, Investment Manager, joined Argos in 2019 as a member of the French investment team.

Graduated from ESSEC Business School and INP EI-Purpan engineering school, Pierre came to Argos after gaining previous M&A experience.

Pierre currently supports Zodiac Milpro, Agôn Electronics and TKH France where he also holds a position of board member. He has further been involved in the following operations:

Tobias Kappis - Argos

Tobias Kappis, Investment Manager, joined Argos in 2019 as a member of the DACH investment team.

Graduated from Technical University in Munich and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Tobias gained prior experience in strategy consultancy and private equity.

Tobias currently supports LoQu and Norline, where he also sits in the board. He has further been involved in the following operations:

  •  The acquisition of Norline (2023)
  • Supported portfolio companies in acquiring 5 build-ups.

Skyler van Wezel - Argos

Skyler van Wezel, Associate, joined Argos in 2022 as a member of the Benelux investment team.

Holding a master’s in business economics from the University of Antwerp, Skyler gained experience in sales & trading and M&A at banks in Paris and Brussels. Before joining Argos, he worked for BNP Paribas in their private equity department.

Skyler currently supports Schenk and Lineas and has been involved in the acquisition of Ijssel technology in December 2022.
