Havant strengthens its European Digital Innovation platform with the acquisition of Olsa Informatica.

  • 6th acquisition for Havant since Argos became a majority shareholder.

  • The addition of Olsa Informatica further accelerates Havant’s European consolidation strategy and reinforces its ambition to become one of Europe’s leading digital innovation group.

  • The transaction reinforces Havant’s leadership in Intelligent Document Processing and digital process management, expanding its capabilities across Artificial Intelligence, Data Governance and Digital Trust.

Havant, a Digital Innovation Company and one of Europe’s leading specialists in business process digitalisation, data governance and artificial intelligence, backed by Argos Fund, today announced the acquisition of Olsa Informatica, a long-established Italian provider of document management, business process outsourcing, digital preservation and e-invoicing solutions.

The acquisition marks another important milestone in Havant’s growth journey and further strengthens the Group’s position as a leading European platform for intelligent information management and digital transformation.

Founded in 1976, Olsa Informatica has nearly 50 years of experience supporting public and private organisations in managing and digitising critical business processes. The company has developed a strong reputation in document lifecycle management, digital preservation, electronic invoicing and operational communications, serving a diversified client base across multiple industries.

The transaction follows years of successful collaboration between the two companies. Through an increasingly close technology partnership, Olsa Informatica became both a partner and a customer of Havant, integrating the Group’s proprietary Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) technologies into its service offering. This long-standing relationship demonstrated the strong complementarity of the two organisations and laid the foundations for their integration into a single industrial project.

A strategic step in building a comprehensive digital ecosystem

The acquisition expands Havant’s capabilities in Intelligent Document Processing, Enterprise Content Management, process automation, Data Governance and Digital Trust, while adding valuable expertise, longstanding customer relationships and highly specialised professionals.

Together, Havant and Olsa Informatica will offer organisations an even more comprehensive suite of solutions covering the entire lifecycle of information and digital processes: from document creation and management to automation, preservation, compliance, data governance and AI-powered business transformation.

The integration is expected to generate significant synergies through:

  • strengthening leadership in Intelligent Document Processing and intelligent automation technologies;
  • combining Olsa Informatica’s expertise with Havant’s proprietary platforms for Artificial Intelligence, Data Governance and Digital Trust;
  • expanding value-added services for businesses and public sector organisations;
  • leveraging a substantial base of customers, expertise and operational know-how developed over almost five decades;
  • accelerating innovation and the development of next-generation solutions based on AI and intelligent information management.

“The integration of Olsa Informatica represents a natural evolution of a partnership that has been built over many years. We share a common vision centred on innovation, technology excellence and customer value. By bringing together Olsa Informatica’s extensive experience in document process management with Havant’s expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Data Governance and Digital Trust, we are further strengthening our position as a leading European Digital Innovation platform.”

— Pietro Lanza, Managing Director & Board Member, Havant

“Joining Havant enables us to enter a new phase of growth while preserving the heritage, expertise and customer relationships that Olsa Informatica has built over nearly fifty years. We are convinced that combining our strengths will create new opportunities for our customers, our people and the markets we serve.”

— Giampaolo Olivetti, Chief Executive Officer, Olsa Informatica

“Havant continues to execute on its strategy of building a leading European platform in digital process transformation. Olsa Informatica brings deep expertise, long-standing customer relationships and highly complementary capabilities that further strengthen the Group’s position in attractive and structurally growing markets. This transaction illustrates the strength of Havant’s buy-and-build strategy and its ambition to create a unique ecosystem spanning Intelligent Document Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Data Governance and Digital Trust.”
