Argos, an independent European private equity group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Panfili as Investor Relations Manager dedicated to Italy. Andrea will work directly with Jean-Pierre Di Benedetto, Managing Partner and Country Head for Italy, and within the Investor Relations team led by Anna Karin Portunato, Head of Investor Relations.
Italy, an active market for Argos
Italian investors are a core constituency for Argos, representing approximately 20% of all investors across both the Argos Climate Action and the Mid-Market strategies. Italy is also a highly active investment market for Argos, with recent transactions including Axitea (2025), Monviso (2024), Bracchi (2023) and SB Italia (2022), as well as the divestment of Fulgard (2024). The Italian investment team now counts 11 professionals and currently supports six portfolio companies.
Andrea brings more than 25 years of experience in asset management, having held senior roles at leading financial institutions. Most recently, he was Head of Sales at Finint Investments SGR, and previously worked at Morgan Stanley, Anthilia Capital Partners and Eurizon Capital. Graduated in Economics & Finance, Andrea has consolidated experience in investor relations, financial advisory, and portfolio construction.
