Intern (m/f/d) in Private Equity

Tasks:

As an intern, you can expect an exciting work with a variety of tasks. In addition to investment activities, you will gain insights into the work with our portfolio companies. The area of responsibility includes, among other things:

  • Support of the investment team in due diligence activities for potential acquisitions, including independent desktop research, use of databases (Bundesanzeiger, Capital IQ, etc.)
  • Analyses of companies, industries and markets and subsequent preparation of discussion materials
  • Collaboration in the preparation of presentations and documents for investment decisions
  • Preparation of analyses and reports for portfolio companies

 

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in advanced stage) or Master’s degree.
  • University degree in economics with focus on accounting, controlling, finance, management, etc., with excellent academic performance
  • First practical experience in the field of private equity, investment banking, consulting, especially with regard to P&L, balance sheet and cash flow analyses
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills (usually, we carry out our work in English)
  • Very good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Availability of at least 3 months
