Argos Fund appoints Alessandro Profumo as Senior Advisor.

Argos Fund, an independent pan-European private equity group, announces the appointment of Alessandro Profumo as Senior Advisor. In this role, Profumo will work with the Argos Fund team on strategic initiatives, investment activities and the provision of management support to portfolio companies.

Alessandro Profumo is one of the most influential person in Italian and European management.

Throughout his long career, he has held top-level positions in the country’s leading financial and industrial groups, including CEO of UniCredit, Chairman of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena and CEO of Leonardo.

He has also gained extensive experience in international financial markets, in the transformation of large organisations, and in relations with investors, institutions and global stakeholders.

With this appointment, Alessandro Profumo joins Argos Fund’s network of Senior Advisers, alongside other leading personality in the European economic and industrial landscape, including Paolo Scaroni, currently Chairman of Enel and former CEO of Eni and Enel, and Pietro Scott Jovane, an international executive who has led Microsoft Italy and the RCS Group.

Profumo’s appointment forms part of a networking strategy adopted by Argos Fund to accelerate the growth of European SMEs by bringing in expertise and experience that are unique on the European stage.
