- A strategic add-on that establishes Bracchi in the Benelux and creates a Northern European logistics gateway.
- The transaction strengthens Bracchi’s position as a leading logistics partner for fashion and lifestyle brands, adding a unique one-stop-shop logistics platform and a gateway-to-Europe proposition for international customers.
- The acquisition supports Bracchi’s European buy-and-build strategy and the decarbonization ambitions of the Argos Climate Action fund.
Expanding into the Benelux market
Bracchi, a leading player in specialised freight transport and logistics, has acquired VIM and Greenway Logistics, a Benelux logistics platform serving primarily small and mid-sized brands in the fashion, sports and lifestyle sectors. With this third transaction – following Rostock Trans in 2026 and Mateco in 2024 – Bracchi enters the Benelux market and further expands in Europe.
The combination creates a complementary footprint between Bracchi’s operations in Italy and Southern Europe and VIM and Greenway Logistics’ position in the Netherlands. Located in the Venlo-Tegelen logistics area, one of Europe’s most important logistics gateways, this acquisition provides Bracchi with a strategic platform to serve Northern Europe and support international brands seeking efficient access to the European market.
The Group now exceeds €270 million in revenues, employs more than 700 people, and serves more than 1,750 customers.
Broadening Bracchi’s fashion and lifestyle logistics capabilities
VIM is an integrated third-party logistics provider offering inbound transport, warehousing, storage, handling and outbound transport. Its one-stop-shop model is designed for brands seeking operational support and a single logistics partner across the supply chain. VIM also serves as a preferred European warehousing partner for non-European brands seeking to establish or expand their presence in the region.
Greenway Logistics provides procurement and advisory services across parcel, express, sea freight and air freight. By aggregating customer demand and working with a network of international carriers and local logistics partners, Greenway Logistics gives SMEs access to cost-efficient logistics solutions and complementary services, including shipment consolidation, CO₂ monitoring and logistics-related compliance support.
Together, VIM and Greenway Logistics broaden Bracchi’s service offering and create opportunities for cross-selling across transport, warehousing, fulfilment and freight forwarding. The enlarged group will be able to support customers with a more integrated proposition across a wider European footprint.
Building a stronger European logistics platform
The acquisition forms part of Bracchi’s active buy-and-build strategy, aimed at scaling its European platform, strengthening its position in attractive end-markets and expanding its portfolio of value-added logistics services.
Umberto Ferretti, CEO of Bracchi, commented: “We are pleased to welcome our colleagues and partners from VIM and Greenway Logistics to the Bracchi family. VIM and Greenway Logistics are highly appreciated brands for the level of service they provide to their clients. Their business model integrates well with Bracchi’s and will allow us to accelerate our growth path in Northern European markets, not least through commercial and operational synergies designed to create value for shareholders.”
Willem-Jan Drost, Group CEO of VIM and Greenway Logistics, added: “Joining Bracchi gives VIM and Greenway Logistics the opportunity to accelerate their development as part of a larger European logistics platform. The combination will expand the solutions available to our customers while preserving the entrepreneurial approach, flexibility and service quality that define our businesses.”
Supporting the climate transition
The transaction is aligned with the objectives of Argos Climate Action, Argos’ decarbonisation-focused strategy. The integration will provide a platform for further environmental progress, notably through renewable electricity sourcing for warehouse operations, increased logistics efficiency and the prioritisation of last-mile delivery partners operating electric or other low-emission fleets.
Sandra Lagumina and Lucio Ranaudo, Managing Partners at Argos, concluded: “This acquisition combines geographic expansion, service diversification and tangible decarbonisation potential. VIM and Greenway Logistics establish Bracchi in a major European logistics hub and strengthen its position in fashion and lifestyle logistics. The transaction is another important step in building a more integrated, scalable and sustainable European logistics leader.”
