- The acquisition adds more than 100,000 sqm of warehousing capacity and strengthens Bracchi’s integrated transport and logistics offering in Northern Italy.
- Festa Logistics is Bracchi’s fourth acquisition since Argos became its majority shareholder, supporting the development of a European logistics platform.
Strengthening Bracchi’s position in Northern Italy
Bracchi, a leading player in specialised freight transport and logistics, has acquired Festa Logistics, an Italian integrated logistics company headquartered in Montichiari, Northern Italy.
Founded in 1988 by Adriano Festa, Festa Logistics provides transport, distribution and warehousing services from a location close to the Brescia Est motorway hub. The company employs more than 140 people, operates seven warehouses covering more than 100,000 sqm and has a fleet of more than 60 Euro 6 vehicles.
Festa Logistics provides a range of specialised and niche logistics services alongside transport solutions for Industrial clients. Its offering includes national and international transport, full-load and groupage shipments, ADR transport, express pallet distribution, warehousing, order preparation and fulfilment, picking, co-packing, re-packing and relabelling. Its operations are supported by dedicated transport and warehouse management systems and by an automated AutoStore DEMATIC solution with 16,000 bins and 11 robots. Festa Logistics has invested significantly in recent years to become a modern and flexible company.
Following the acquisition, the Bracchi Group generates more than €300 million in revenue, employs over 750 people, serves more than 2,000 customers and operates 600,000 sqm of warehousing facilities.
A fourth acquisition in Bracchi’s European growth strategy
Festa Logistics joins Bracchi following the acquisitions of Mateco in 2024, Rostock Trans in 2026 and VIM & Greenway Logistics in 2026.
Bracchi is supported by Argos Climate Action, Argos’ investment strategy focused on building European businesses while accelerating their decarbonisation. The transaction forms part of Bracchi’s active buy-and-build strategy, aimed at scaling its European platform, strengthening its position in attractive end-markets and expanding its portfolio of value-added logistics services. Festa Logistics’s strong position in Northern Italy, experienced management team, flexibility and integrated operating model are highly complementary to Bracchi’s existing footprint and capabilities.
Umberto Ferretti, CEO of Bracchi, commented: “Festa Logistics is a high-quality company with strong roots in Northern Italy, an experienced team and a highly complementary service offering. By joining forces, we will strengthen our ability to provide customers with integrated transport and logistics solutions while accelerating the development of a larger and more diversified European platform.”
Adriano Festa, Founder and CEO of Festa Logistics, commented: “After 38 years as a family company, joining Bracchi is an important step for Festa Logistics. We share the same entrepreneurial culture, commitment to service quality and long-term ambition. Together, we will be able to offer our customers a broader range of solutions while preserving the expertise, agility and close relationships that have defined Festa Logistics since its foundation. I would also like to thank all my employees. They are a fundamental pillar of Festa Logistics and will continue to be part of this new chapter.”
Sandra Lagumina and Lucio Ranaudo, Managing Partners at Argos, commented: “Festa brings a strong logistics footprint, significant warehousing capacity and highly complementary capabilities to Bracchi. The transaction creates meaningful commercial and operational synergies and represents another important step in building a leading independent logistics group in Europe.”
