Julhiet Sterwen, supported by Argos, strengthens its position as the leading independent HR consultancy with the acquisition of HR Conseil.

  • This acquisition is the fourth investment made by the company since Argos joined the share capital in 2021.

  • The integration of HR Conseil strengthens the Group’s expertise in digital HR transformation and the responsible integration of artificial intelligence.

Julhiet Sterwen, one of France’s leading consulting firms in strategy, transformation and innovation, announces the acquisition of HR Conseil, a key player in digital HR transformation.

This strategic operation is part of the growth momentum supported by Argos since 2021, and follows the acquisitions of Dittman in Germany, as well as (RE)SET and M618 Consulting completed in France in 2024.

By integrating HR Conseil, Julhiet Sterwen consolidates its leading market position across all dimensions of HR transformation, from strategy to operational implementation, fully integrating issues related to AI, HR technologies and social responsibility.

Artificial intelligence at the heart of HR transformation

The rise of AI and HR technologies is opening up unprecedented opportunities for organisations: improved performance, talent support, skills anticipation and organisational management.

Julhiet Sterwen and HR Conseil share the belief that AI does not replace humans but enhances their capacity to act and decide. Together, they aim to help public and private organisations deploy responsible technological solutions, centred on people and collective value.

This merger creates a leading independent HR and people-focused consultancy, with 750 employees, more than 2,000 clients and revenue exceeding €120 million.

Gilles Lorang, Managing Partner, and Mario Giannattasio, Partner at Argos, stated:

“We are proud to support the Julhiet Sterwen team in this new phase of growth. The integration of HR Conseil, a recognised expert in digital HR transformation and the deployment of AI solutions, marks a key milestone in the Group’s strategy. It will enable Julhiet Sterwen to offer a comprehensive and responsible range of services, combining technology and human support.”

Marc Sabatier, CEO of Julhiet Sterwen, added:

“In a world where economic, societal and technological transitions are accelerating, people remain the key to all success. Artificial intelligence, when placed at the service of employees, becomes a tremendous lever for transformation and meaning.”

François Angelini, Chairman and co-founder of HR Conseil, concluded:

“Together with Julhiet Sterwen, we aim to be the preferred partner for public and private organisations in addressing their HR challenges across the entire value chain: from purpose to solution, from strategy to HRIS.”
