My name is Bilel Oumheta, I am 27 years old. I was born in Maubeuge, in northern France, and also lived nearby in Aulnoye-Aymeries, as well as in Sétif (Algeria).

I studied Economic and Financial Engineering at Université Paris-Dauphine. During this time, I had the opportunity to complete several long internships – in auditing (KPMG) and in private equity (Argos, Bpifrance, and Alliance Entreprendre).

I have always been interested in finance. During the first year of my master’s, I evaluated a mid-sized industrial company in northern France. I greatly appreciated the conversations with the CEO about his daily experiences and challenges. At that point, I began to engage with corporate finance and discovered private equity. My first conversation with someone in private equity was with Louis Godron at an evening event for a nonprofit organization. He explained his work to me and encouraged me to pursue it seriously.

I see private equity as a multidimensional support system for company leaders: financially, strategically, organizationally, etc., with the goal of enabling company growth.

I also dedicate a lot of time to nonprofit and political activities in northern France.
For example, I co-founded an association with friends to support students from low-income families in their educational and professional choices. I am also a municipal councilor in my city, responsible for economic and youth-related matters. I am very happy to be able to contribute to my community.

Since childhood, I have practiced several sports, including football and tennis. I had a promising football career ahead of me, but unfortunately, I tore my ACL.
